At Johns Creek and Alpharetta Counseling, we do not take insurance. We forgo working with insurance companies to ensure the privacy of our client’s records and to allow for more flexibility in treatment plans to ensure we meet our client's specific needs.

For couples therapy, our initial meeting will be altogether so that I can gather all of the needed background information on your relationship. Then, I will do an individual session with each partner to get to know your individual experience better. Then, our fourth session will be back together. At this session, I will have a better idea of what is going on, and what your goals are, and from there, we will be able to identify a path forward.

Always a fun answer to receive…it depends! This is an ongoing topic, we will discuss in your initial meeting and we will continue to assess this as we progress in our work together.

If you decide it is not a good fit, no worries! Please let me know and I will be sure to give you referrals for other therapists who may be a better match.
