INdividual (16+) and couples therapist in Atlanta, GA.

Hi, I’m Colleen, MA, NCC, APC, The doubt disorder disrupter

You feel on edge, disconnected, and tense. You have distanced yourself from things you once loved to do out of fear of uncertainty. You’re wondering if you will ever feel confident in yourself again. I can help with that.

I focus my supervision and training on helping adolescents (16+) and adults struggling with OCD (doubt disorder) and generalized anxiety disorder break free from constant worries. Additionally, I assist parents of anxious children in managing their children's anxiety by modifying their responses and behaviors.

I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we are a good match.

Together, let’s find the solace you are searching for.

I’ve Been There.

Most bios you have read so far will most likely touch on something like, "This is a safe space. This will be a healing journey. You will learn coping skills," etc. All of that is so important and something I offer, too, but what I want you to know is that I’ve been there.

My struggle with anxiety catapulted me into my journey of becoming a therapist.

In a world full of uncertainty (an anxious individuals nightmare of a statement!!) what I do know for certain is that you deserve a nonjudgmental witness to join you on your path to healing, and it would be an honor to be that person.

I draw upon various models such as ERP, CBT, EFT, and Rogerian to ensure I meet my clients where they are.

I aim to bring my humanness into every session, and as a firm believer in the healing power of laughter, I often incorporate humor as a tool for connection and healing.
